Your Role
You will advise customers along the entire payment transaction value chain. You will work on challenging issues and develop practical solutions. Typical specialist topics include
- Card and account-based payment methods (e.g. SEPA, cards, wallets, instant payments)
- Payment schemes, acquiring, issuing and network operator models
- Regulations in payment transactions (e.g. PSD2/PSD3, EBA guidelines, scheme rules)
- Business and operating models of payment service providers and banks
- Optimization of payment processes, cost structures and revenue models
- Support for market entries, tenders and transformation projects
You work closely with decision-makers at specialist and management level and take responsibility for sub-projects or complete workstreams.
The profile we are looking for:
You have sound experience in payment transactions and would like to contribute your expertise to a highly specialized consultancy. Ideally you are characterized by:
- Several years of professional experience in the payment environment (e.g. bank, PSP, scheme, network operator, consulting)
- Very good understanding of payment processes, market roles and regulatory framework conditions
- Analytical strength as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner in relation to different stakeholders
- High self-motivation, quality standards and interest in complex technical topics
- Willingness to travel on projects and work from home
- Very good knowledge of German and English
