The Unzer Group wanted to develop its safeguarding of customer funds in a future-proof manner and optimize increasing regulatory and operational requirements for business processes and IT systems. In addition to harmonizing processes and banking procedures, the aim was to improve the database for reconciliation, monitoring, and evaluations and to establish closer cooperation between internal departments.

Together, a modernized safeguarding setup was developed that integrates operational, technical, and regulatory requirements. Processes and booking logic were optimized, international requirements were taken into account, and new functions for reconciliation, data analysis, and automated monitoring were established. In addition, governance and reporting structures were clearly defined.
