Der Umfang des Projekts zwischen Nets und OSTHAVEN basiert auf dem Ziel, die Bausteine und Markteintrittsvoraussetzungen für das aktuelle Wertversprechen einer Online-Payment-Lösung speziell für die DACH-Region mit Schwerpunkt auf dem deutschen Markt zu definieren. Hierzu sollten die erforderlichen Voraussetzungen und speziellen Anforderungen für einen erfolgreichen Markteintritt auf Basis einer Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalyse identifiziert werden.
The solution
Product and go-to-market strategy
In a first step, OSTHAVEN reviewed the online payment solution in terms of infrastructure, functions, value proposition, processes, onboarding requirements, etc., to derive suggestions for any necessary adjustments. This was followed by an analysis and evaluation of the e-commerce and payment market in the DACH region in terms of, for example, market size, structure and characteristics, customer and merchant requirements, merchant segmentation and industries, payment methods, and a comparison of the competitive environment. Finally, OSTHAVEN derived appropriate measures for the product solution and value proposition that are considered necessary for successful market expansion in the DACH region. The recommendations cover product features as well as processes and aspects of market launch.
The result
Solid basis for market expansion
OSTHAVEN was able to produce a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the DACH region in the context of a payment provider for online payment solutions. The subsequent evaluation contained the most important findings in relation to the existing competition in the markets, the preferred payment mix, product features of the payment methods, sales and onboarding processes, and recommendations for the sales approach.
