The challenge

Consolidation of processing platforms

Following the acquisition of Concardis by Nets and later the Nexi Group, synergies were to be realized through the consolidation of processing platforms. As a result, acquiring processing was switched from an external provider to an in-house solution. This required extensive analysis, development, and implementation work in a cross-country and cross-departmental project before customer migration could take place.

The solution

Holistic management of migration

OSTHAVEN took on a leading role in all project phases – from conception and the definition of work packages and stakeholders to the creation of a detailed project plan. This was followed by the development of necessary adjustments to the platform, systems, and processes, as well as the successful rollout for all merchant groups. This also included central internal and external communication.

The result

Synergies, flexibility, and lower costs

The timely switch to the internal processing solution enabled financial and operational synergies to be realized. The new setup creates greater flexibility, faster product development, and lower costs in the European portfolio. The project was a central component of the integration of Nexi Germany into the Nexi Group and an important element of the post-merger transformation.
