Complex change of network operator at the POS
At dmTECH, the focus was on replacing the previous girocard network operator at the POS. This complex project required professional management to ensure it was carried out on time and without downtime: several internal and external stakeholders had to be coordinated with close tracking, and clear, continuous communication between dm drogeriemarkt, dmTECH, the service technicians, and the new network operator was necessary.
The solution
End-to-end management of the rollout
OSTHAVEN played a key role in the success of the project in a managerial and technical capacity throughout all phases of the project. Starting with project planning, piloting in a few stores and subsequent evaluation, rollout planning for the conversion of all 2,000 stores in Germany, and the final aftercare phase, OSTHAVEN was responsible for managing the entire project.

The successful and timely switch to the new service provider generated significant cost advantages. Thanks to close monitoring, the project budget was adhered to and relevant project KPIs were achieved. Efficient processes for further cooperation were established with the new service provider, which will bring about significant improvements in future operations.
